TRAINING
Formal Training
Biopax Limited has a significant formal training programme aimed at developing our people and enhancing their core skills.
This includes Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, Customer Service, People Management, Commercial Awareness and Information Technology.
Professional development is also promoted across the range of disciplines for example Procurement, Finance, Audit, Design, HR and Technical Services.
Learning Through Experience
Biopax Limited recognises the importance of learning opportunities which can be gained from on-the-job training and experience. This begins with a robust and structured Induction and ongoing support to all new staff.
Managers and staff are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities for job rotation and secondments, involvement in projects and cross disciplinary/peer working groups etc.
Online / E-learning
The implementation of our new online learning management system is aimed at ensuring the business keeps abreast of all legislative changes and updates. Compliance training is of course a priority for the business and all Employees are required to complete regular refresher training on GDPR, Health & Safety, Inclusion and Diversity, Food Safety etc… Our dedicated E-Learning platform also promotes personal development, complimenting both formal and on the job training.
Apprenticeships
Biopax Limited has formed a close partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College for the delivery of our Printing Apprenticeships. The Business also works closely with People 1st in ensuring we develop a robust succession plan in the areas of Customer Services, Business Administration, Warehousing and Distribution.
